The OKUNO-IN:
This is the biggest graveyard in Japan. There are more than 250.000 tombs in a huge cedar forest.
Visitors can stay in some of the several temples of the area and experience the Buddhist temple life. However, I decided to stay in the Koyasan Youth Hostel. A comfi place to stay after a busy day visiting beautiful sites of the area.
